Vital clues collected on Srinagar, Hyd blasts: Shinde

Tirupati: Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Saturday said that the Central vigilance and investigation teams had collected certain vital clues in connection with the recent Srinagar and Hyderabad terror attacks that will be revealed soon. Shinde was speaking to reporters at Tirumala, after having darshan of Lord Venkateswara. He said that the Centre had already informed the states about the possible terrorist strikes as retaliation to the hanging of Kasab and Afzal Guru, prompted by the cross-border terrorist designs and provocation by the neighboring country. He attributed the Hyderabad and Srinagar blasts to the lack of coordination among officials. "However, we are successful that the Central teams collected certain vital clues and information regarding the blasts," he said. After darshan at Tiruchanur, he reached Tirumala, where he was accorded warm welcome by the TTD authorities and Bapiraju. Shinde was administered ashirwachan at Ranganayakula mandapam atA Tirumala temple, and was presented temple prasadams. Shinde participated in 'Unjal Seva'.
