'Cloud computing tech has big job potential'

Vijayawada:Cloud computing is a revolutionary technology that changed many a system, said CEO of Logos Informatik GmbH from Germany, Axel Angeli. He was the chief resource person at the one-day international certification programme on cloud computing, organised by MVR College of Engineering and Technology here on Sunday. He said that the cloud computing brought revolutionary changes in the fields like telecommunications, financial management, electronics, robotics and space research. He informed the students about some of the devices like 'Tom Tom,' a navigation device to find the easiest way to reach the destination. He said that 'smart meter' was a device for washing machines to make them run automatically at the lowest and peak hours, based on the information that it gathers from cloud. He said that the space research also utilises cloud computing to get information from space. A He said that cloud computing would be of great use in future to predict the stock market movements. Principal Sambasiva Rao said that cloud computing offers great potential to generate jobs in top companies for young technocrats. He said that over 200 students, teachers and aspirants from various colleges took part in the programme. They get certificates signed by the Blue Elephant.
