The gratitude programme is a special occasion for all graduating batches of students of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. It allows them to thank their Divine Lord and Revered Founder Chancellor, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for His immense Love, support and guidance during the previous few years each student has spent in His presence before they head out into the world for the next step in their journey.

On 20 March 2016, the postgraduate students of the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus, SSSIHL got an opportunity to string together a bouquet of songs through which they shared their feelings. Interspersed with the songs were short speeches of their experiences with Bhagawan Baba. Speaking in multiple languages and dressed in clothes and colors of their own state, students spoke and sang in their vernacular during the programme. However, the one theme that bind them all was their immense love for Swami. They spoke on how His darshan, His teachings, nay even the very thought of Him elicited a feeling of oneness that they could never otherwise experience. The creative presentation included a band and solo performances of many musical instruments.

Dance in front of the Divine has always been a tradition for the students here and today was no different. It is a collective presentation of what is in one's mind and heart, and for the gratitude program, there was only purpose of the dance presentation: gratitude towards The Divine Master.

During the programme, devotees enjoyed videos of Darshan and students offered bouquets of flowers, cards and even paintings to Bhagawan Baba's Mahasamadhi. The evening concluded with Bhajans followed by Prasadam distribution, Divine Voice singing Bhaja Govindham... aired through the PA System and Managala Arati.
