Photos: Holy Ganesh Chathurthi Celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam 

Traditional Holy Ganesh Chaturthi festivities commenced here at Prasanthi Nilayam this morning with a musical offering by the Students of SSSIHL. They presented devotional songs singing the glory of Lord Sai Ganesa.

This was followed by our beloved Bhagawan’s Divine discourse on Lord Ganesa, which was aired through the Public Address system.

Bhajans and Mangala Arati marked the end of proceedings in the morning session.

As per the prevailing practice, Prasanthi Nilayam rejoices the Ganesh Chathurthi celebrations every year for 3 days. Poojas would be offered at various departments and branches of Sai Institutions to the well decorated Ganesa Idols of different postures, for three days. On the final day evening, all the Idols are brought to Sai Kulwanth hall before Maha Samadhi of Bhagawan for Darshan by the devotees and finally will be taken in procession for immersion at Chithravathi River.
