Sachin was special for Satya Sai

Sachin is a God loving man. He keeps a great faith in God. He worships Satya Sai more than any other deity. He visited Puttaparti many a times to get Baba's blessings, when Baba was alive.

He was the skipper for the match held in front of Baba in the past. When Sachin heard about the news of Baba's sad demise, he could not control himself and rushed the spot. He was then available at Hyderabad to play an IPL match. He stayed away from his birthday celebrations, after knowing Baba’s demise.

It is also known that Sachin worships Ganesha also. He celebrates Ganesh Chathurthi grandly at his residence. He visits many temples in the late nights, as they appeal peaceful to him in nights.

He visits famous temples, wherever he goes for playing.
