Vassya does the star turn

Hyderabad: Vassya Subramaniam emerged the star for Hyderabad-based Telangana State’s Bhavan’s Shri Ram Krishna Vidyalaya, leading her team to a 3-0 victory over Khaitan Public School (UP) to enter the senior girls semifinals of the 11 Even Sports National Inter-schools Table Tennis Championships at Abhay Prashal in Indore on Thursday. Vassya won both her singles matches and then teamed up with V Sassya Subramanian to win the doubles match in the best of five encounter. Shri Ram Krishna Vidyalaya will now lock horns with Siliguri High School, North Bengal for a place in the final.
