DLF Gardencity Cricket Tournament 2016 concludes

Keeping the spirit of cricket season alive, a 2-day cricket tournament was organized at DLF Gardencity on 26th and 27th November, 2016. The tournament was held at DLF Gardencity Sports Complex, Sector 91, Gurgaon.

The DLF Gardencity Cricket Tournament 2016 kicked off with players taking an oath to maintain true spirit of the game with fair play during the matches. The tournament was declared open with the release of colorful balloons.

Residents of all age groups turned up in large numbers to cheer for their favorite team. The live commentary added to the frenzy of the game.

total 6 teams participated in this two-day tournament. The teams participated with immense enthusiasm, keeping the crowd completely enthralled. The Tournament was concluded on 27th Nov’16 with ‘86 Eagles’ team being declared as the winner. The closing ceremony was marked by distribution of prizes to winners as well as participants.

Mr. Chirag Dua, a resident of DLF Gardencity said, “I am a cricket enthusiast and thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the tournament. Our team started early morning practice sessions to give our best performance on the field. We hope that DLF Gardencity continues to undertake such initiatives which allow us to indulge in physical activity as well as spend time with our neighbors”.
