Fans hit the streets in India, Pakistan

New Delhi: Indian cricket fans across the nation went berserk late Sunday night after the defending champions were annihilated by Pakistan, which posted a massive 180-run win in the summit clash to annex its maiden Champions Trophy in London.

Angry fans held street demonstrations and burnt effigies of the Men in Blue.Meanwhile, it was euphoria in almost every street in Pakistan. Massive traffic jams were witnessed as people came out on the roads in their cars and motorcycles, waving flags and raising slogans, celebrating the big win.

Although, celebrities from Bollywood stood by the demoralised India team, social media was bombarded with hate messages and condemnations.
