Hyderabad: In a major boost to her career that is blossoming with each outing, city teenager Bhamidipaty Shrivalli Rashmikaa toppled top seeded Chinese girl Yujiao Che 6-4,6-2 to win the ITF Juniors Grade 5 girl singles title in the Vietnam province of Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday.

This marks a significant career push as in her previous ITF Juniors Grade 5 tournament, she finished runner-up in Indore, according to information received here.

The XI Standard student of DPS Nacharam has the potential to go places as she has the wherewithal to match the best of her peers, opine her conditioning expert M Srikanth and G Sivaram Guttam the CEO of Asterminds Enterprise, who has been supporting her for the past two years.

“I am thrilled to have achieved this title. I hope that, having regained match-fitness, I will be able to raise the bar in the immediate future engagements,” said the thrilled Shrivalli after receiving the award. Her upcoming big events will be next week’s ITF Grade 5 tournament also in Vietnam and the ITF Grade 3 at Zimbabwe from August 14.
