The man of the moment for the winning outfit was skipper Meraj Sheykh led from the front and marshaled his resources brilliantly. Even as they drew in composure, the Panthers succumbed in the second half.Sheykh scored seven points while Nilesh Shinde scored a high five in defence.
Dabang Delhi opened their account in the second minute with a tackle point and followed it up with a bonus to lead 2-0 after three minutes. Jaipur Pink Panthers scored their first point as Manjeet Chhillar made a tackle in the fifth minute. By the sixth minute, it was 3-3. Sheykh, who struggled in the beginning, started firing to give his team the motivation that was required.
