Govt Vocational Junior College, Nampally cantered to a facile victory in the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports football tournament here on Thursday. They beat Hyderabad Institute Of Excellence 3-0 in a Senior Boys’ qualifying match to install themselves as one of the teams to beat.

Ansar Uddin Syed was their player as he poached two goals to set up the victory. He scored in the 16th and 17th minutes. A minute later, Mohd Rizwan Khan too helped himself to a goal to seal the match.
Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Bihar High School were handed a 3-0 victory in the Junior Boys’ category as their opponentsJyothi Balamandir High School failed to turn up.
