A new-look FC Goa will fly to Murcia in Spain on October 7 to play series pre-season games as the perfect build-up to the fourth edition of Hero Indian Super League (ISL).
Mapusa: A new-look FC Goa will fly to Murcia in Spain on October 7 to play series pre-season games as the perfect build-up to the fourth edition of Hero Indian Super League (ISL).
The new-look management boasting of former Barcelona assistant coach Sergio Lobera and Derrick Pereira, the Gaurs have invested heavily in local talent and knit a vibrant mix of experienced international players to lend balance.
The 27-man squad, which will include four development team players will play five friendlies at the La Manga Club,
Playing against quality opposition will help the squad to work ton their relative strengths and weaknesses,” said head coach, Sergio Lobera.
The friendlies will be against FC Cartagena, UCAM Murcia CF, Mar Menor FC, Lorca FC, Almeria FC and former La Liga side Real Murcia. The squad returns it Goa base on October 27.
