Birla A1 fetes Gopu Srinivas
Birla A1, a part of Orient Cement Limited, on Monday felicitated body builder Gopu Srinivas for winning two bronze medals in recent international events.
Hyderabad: Birla A1, a part of Orient Cement Limited, on Monday felicitated body builder Gopu Srinivas for winning two bronze medals in recent international events.
The Mancherial native bagged a bronze medal in the 51st Asian Body Building championship at Seoul in the Junior Men’s Body Building 70 kg category. Srinivas followed it with an encore in the ninth WBPF World Body Building and Physique Sport Championship in the same category at Mongolia.
Rahul Deshmukh, Senior Vice-President, of the cement major said that there was a personal touch as one of Orient Cement’s factories was located in the native district of Srinivas. He said they had been supporting the body builder for quite some time now. Officials from the sponsor, including Keshav Sharma, AbhayDespande, PawanJaggi and Nikesh Baidya were present on the occasion.
