Hyderabad Cricket Association to conduct T20 League
Pushed to the wall all these years and perhaps rising to the growing demands, Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is planning to promote the sport in the interiors, Towards this, they will conduct G Venkataswamy Memorial Telangana T20 League from December 22 to January 16.

According to HCA President Dr G Vivekanand and Secretary T Shesh Narayan this was aimed at providing opportunities to the talent in rural areas.
The first of two phases will feature all 31 districts from Telangana State plus Hyderabad team while Phase 2 will have 10 teams consisting of the combined districts. The inaugural Phase 1 match pits Karimnagar against Siricilla at Gymkhana Ground on Friday.
Phase 1: Zone 1: Group A: Warangal Urban, Jangaon, Warangal Rural, Jayashankar Bhupalpally; Group B: Mahbubabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet; Zone 2: Group A: Karimnagar, Peddapally, Rajanaa Siricilla, Jagtyal; Group B: Adilabad, Nirmal, Kumurum Bheem, Mancherial; Zone 3: Group A: Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Hyderabad 1, Hyderabad 2; Group B: Mahbubnagar, Jogulamba Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Nagakurnool; Zone 4: Group A: Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Siddipet, Medchal.
Group B: Vikarabad, Ranga Reddy, Sanga Reddy, Medak.
