Mehdi, Ranga Raju make national cut

They made the cut on the first day of the Hyderabad Leg here on Wednesday. Following their topping the charts, a total of 17 qualifiers have been identified for the national finals of The Mercedes Trophy.
Meanwhile, the day’s other stand out performance came from Shashidhar Reddy, who emerged as the best Gross Winner of the day.
The top national three will compete with contenders from 60 countries in the 29th edition of the Mercedes Trophy World Final to be held in Stuttgart.
