Gymnastics coach Brij Kishore, who shot to fame after his protégé B Aruna Reddy skyrocketed to world fame, succumbed to cancer here on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Gymnastics coach Brij Kishore, who shot to fame after his protégé B Aruna Reddy skyrocketed to world fame, succumbed to cancer here on Thursday.
He was 50 and is survived by his wife and two daughters.Ailing for a long time, the pre-eminent coach was undergoing treatment at the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital in Banjara Hills here.
Sadly for the fraternity, the disease was detected at a very late stage because of which he was subject to chemotherapy.
The sports fraternity condoled the death and recalled the yeomen service rendered by Brij Kishore.
