CSK back with a bang

Mumbai: A brilliant 68 Dwayne Bravo 68 and an unbeaten 24-run cameo by Kedar Jadhav helped two-time champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) return to the IPL fold with a bang.

They downed champions Mumbai Indian by one wicket in a thrilling encounter at the Wankhede Stadium here on Saturday. Although, it almost was in the bag of Mumbai, CSK pulled off the thriller.Earlier, Mumbai Indians posted 165 for four, thanks to Suryakumar Yadav (43), Krunal Pandya (41), Ishan Kishan (40) and Hardik Pandya (22 not out 20).

After CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl, these four Mumbai batsmen helped the hosts recover from a poor start which resulted from the dismissals of openers Ervin Lewis (0), Rohit Sharma (15) inside 20 runs.
Ishan then fell to South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir, leaving his side at 113/4 in 14.4 overs.
