Shooter Manu Bhaker becomes first Indian woman gold medalist at Youth Olympics

Manu Bhaker accomplished the feat in 10m air pistol event with a score of 236.5 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. With this triumph, sixteen-year-old Manu became the first ever Indian woman shooter to win gold at Youth Olympics.

Happy Manu’s father Mr Ramkishan told, “This will boost her confidence. She was unhappy with the Asian Games and World Championships. She performed well in both the events but missed to win a medal. We are delighted that she stood out as a winner .”
