You can make your picture-perfect makeup last long just by following some fail-proof tips given below. So read along and get going ladies:

Get your hands on a light weight base: Instead of applying foundation on an everyday basis, wear a BB or CC cream. These are three-in-one products, which help in avoiding extra layers of makeup on your face. Apply any one of them and you are good to go. Light weight makeup stays longer. Try out the BB Cream for a light coverage and CC Cream for colour correction and smooth skin coverage.

Befriend a compact for setting the makeup: Use a finishing loose powder or a compact, preferably the gold sheer powder with SPF 15 to finish your makeup and re touch your skin whenever required later in the day. This makes your skin look flawless without becoming patchy.

Use primer for eye makeup followed by a combination of eyeliner and eyeshadow: Primers stick to your skin, whereas your makeup sticks to the primer, making it last longer. In case of your eye makeup, after applying the primer, use an eye pencil of any colour and smudge with a brush. Now apply eye shadow of the same color by smudging the brush over the liner. This not only gives a beautiful smokey effect to the eye liner but also mattifies it and makes it last long.

Conceal your lipstick well: To make your lipstick last longer, use a little bit of concealer and powder on the lips first. This ensures an even coverage of color all through your lips, bringing out the exact colour of the shade in case you have discolored lips.

Do a combo of lip liner with your lipstick: Outline your lips and fill in completely with the lip pencil first and then apply lipstick over it. This makes your lip colour last longer.
