Check out new OnePlus 3 with Snapdragon 820 processor 6GB RAM launched
The dual-sim supporting smartphone will be sold without any invites and will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting June 15 at a price tag of Rs 27,999.
NEW DELHI: OnePlus has finally unveiled its fourth smartphone in the market, the OnePlus 3. The handset comes as a successor to the OnePlus 2 that was launched last year. The Chinese smartphone maker launched the flagship device in an online VR event today.
The dual-sim supporting smartphone will be sold without any invites and will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting June 15 at a price tag of Rs 27,999.
Running OxygenOS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the OnePlus 3 smartphone features a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED Full HD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Under-the-hood it packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, clubbed with a massive 6GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. This makes the device one of the very few in the market to boast such a large amount of RAM.
The OnePlus 3 as expected, features a non-expandable 64GB of inbuilt storage. On the camera front, the handset houses a 16MP Sony IMX298 autofocus rear camera with optical image stabilisation for better shots and videos, LED flash, and an 8MP Sony IMX179 front-facing camera.
It also has the ability to record videos in 4K resolution.
Like the OnePlus 2, the OnePlus 3 also features a slider on the side to easily flip between priority alert and silent mode.
The smartphone boasts a metal build. However, those who are missing the popular Sandstone back can put on a phone cover made out of the same material. There are sandstone, carbon fibre and other covers avaialble for the device as well.
Users get the option to customize the notifications LEDs, along with status bar, quick settings bar, and how to wake up their smartphone. The home button doubles up as a fingerprint sensor too. As for connectivity, the OnePlus 3 supports NFC, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. It is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery with support for Dash Charge technology. It comes in Graphite and Soft Gold colour variants.
