How To Hide Your \'Last Seen\' On WhatsApp. The timestamp in WhatsApp which tells you if the user is Online or Last Seen at a particular date and time is called the “Last Seen” stamp. Now you can hide it from whoever you want to.
Most of us are addicted to WhatsApp, that little green icon on everyone’s phones which revolutionized the world of texting for everybody. But WhatsApp is not only heaven for you, it’s also heaven for those who love sending you tons of messages – especially because they can see your Last Seen!
If you’ve been using WhatsApp for a long time, you probably know how long people have been waiting for a chance to find hide their Last Seen. And if you’re new to WhatsApp, let’s explain this good-evil option to you.
The timestamp in WhatsApp which tells you if the user is Online or Last Seen at a particular date and time is called the “Last Seen” stamp. Now you can hide it from whoever you want to. You have three options:
Everyone
When the information will be visible to all WhatsApp users
My Contacts
When the information is only visible to your contacts
Nobody
When the information cannot be seen by any WhatsApp user.
Unfortunately, everyone can see when you’re online.
WhatsApp for Android
- Launch Whatsapp and then click on the Menu symbol which is typically a 3-dot symbol on the top right-corner of the screen. For those who have the three capacitive buttons on their phones can access the Menu from there (usually left-most or right-most touch button).
- Under the Menu, go to Settings.
- From Settings, go to the Privacy option.
- Under the Privacy option, the option Last Seen is available under Who Can See My Last Seen Info. Just tap on it and select accordingly.
WhatsApp for iPhone
- First launch WhatsApp and then tap Settings in it, located on the bottom right-most corner.
- In Settings, find an option which says Account just above Chat Settings.
- From Account go to Privacy.
- Now, tap on Last Seen and select accordingly.
WhatsApp for Blackberry 7
- Launch WhatsApp and then go to Settings, which is a gear wheel symbol in the top band.
- In Settings, find Privacy Settings.
- In Privacy Settings, find the Last Seen under Visibility.
- On the drop-down Last Seen, select accordingly.
WhatsApp for Blackberry 10
- First, launch WhatsApp and then slide down from the top of the glass to reveal agear wheel shaped Settings button.
- Tap on Settings and find the Privacy Settings option.
- After this, you can see the Last Seen option. Just tap on it and select accordingly.
