In terms of specifications, the Asus ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) sports a 6-inch full-HD display along with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (MSM8939) processor paired with 3GB RAM. On the memory front, the device includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further eppanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The phone offers a 13MP rear camera, large f/2.0-aperture and 0.03 seconds auto-focus feature, which is said to enable up to two times faster focus and zero shutter lag. For low light photography, the phone comes equipped with ASUS PixelEnhancing and PixelMaster technology which allows users to take up to 400 percent brighter photos and videos. It also features a 5MP front facing camera.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop-based ZenUI with software enhancements such as What’s Next, ZenLink, ZenMotion, Quick Access, ASUS Splendid, Kids Mode, Snap View, One Hand Mode, Trend Micro Security, Themes and more.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and Micro-USB. A 3000 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery completes the package.
