NEW DELHI: Intex has launched another smartphone in its Aqua series called Aqua Ring. Priced at of Rs 4,999, the smartphone is available exclusively on Amazon India.

The device features a camera ring at the back which is similar to the Asus ZenFone Zoom. Also, the rear panel has a Sandstone finish inspired by the OnePlus One.

The Intex Aqua Ring sports a 5-inch 720p HD display with Asahi Dragon trail Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580A processor with 1GB of RAM and Mali 400 MP2 GPU.

On the storage front, the smartphone offers 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

The device offers a 5MP A/F camera at the back with dual-LED Flash and a 5MP selfie camera. Powered by a 2, 450mAh battery, it is a dual-sim 3G capable smartphone.

So, those who are looking at using 4G data plans should stay away from buying this phone. It comes with regular connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

Intex recently launched its Aqua Pride and Aqua Q7N smartphones at a price of under Rs 5,000.

The Intex Aqua Pride has a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480x854 pixel resolution. The dual-sim device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor.

It has 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of on-board storage, which can be expanded further up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 2,800mAh battery rounding up the specsheet.

On the other hand, the Intex Aqua Q7N features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display of 480x854 pixel resolution. The handset runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and is powered by a 1GHz quad-core Spreadtrum chipset.

It also packs 512MB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage, expandable further up to 32GB through a microSD card.

There's a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing shooter. On the connectivity front, the phone offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS. There's also a 2,000mAh battery.

While the Aqua Pride comes at a price tag of Rs 4,999, Aqua Q7N is priced at Rs 4,190.
