San Francisco: Opening a new frontier for smartphone makers, LeEco has unveiled two "ecophones" here -- devices that put content upfront to deliver the best end-user experience.

At $399, Le Pro3 is the flagship "ecophone" that combines design and performance with content.

Sporting a 5.5-inch screen, Le Pro3 features brushed metal backing and Corning Gorilla Glass screen with 2.5D curved edges for a smooth finish. When you hold it in your hands, it comfortably sits in the palm.

The device, which is yet to come to India, sports premium audio features, including dual speakers, surround sound powered by Dolby Atmos and the in-house Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology.

Le Pro3 has a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 4070 mAh battery for a longer experience.

The device also features 16 MP rear-facing camera and 8 MP front camera for selfies.

The device will come with a three-month free "EcoPass" membership.

With an intuitive Ecosystem User Interface (eui) content platform, Le and LIVE apps in the device offer a lineup of content including a dynamic preview display and a 3x3 mosaic of streaming content.

With eui, Le Pro3 users can access LeView, a "minus one screen" experience that puts tailored content, customised to viewing preferences.

Another device launched here -- Le S3 -- comes with all-metal unibody and a 5.5-inch screen. Featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, Le S3 has 16 MP main and 8 MP selfie camera.

Le S3 combines the power of CDLA and Dolby Atmos with in-box, Type-C CDLA earphones for a good audio experience.

Available in gold, gray and rose gold for $249, the device also includes a three-month free "EcoPass" membership.

"EcoPass" includes a two-year warranty for LeEco smartphones and three-years for TVs, 5TB of cloud storage on LeCloud and unlimited storage for photos and videos and unlimited movie viewing on movie viewing service Fandor.

LeEco will launch the two "ecophones" in the US on lemall.com on November 2.
