​Hyderabad: Samsung India launched its new version of My Galaxy application, an entertainment hub and life-services app, in Hyderabad on Monday. Exclusively available to Indian users of Samsung Galaxy mobile devices, the new My Galaxy app amplifies entertainment with videos, music and gaming.

While the video section packs in over 42,000 hours of video content with a three-month free premium subscription, the audio section offers a catalogue of more than two million songs. Besides, it integrates key life services such as recharges, bill payments, movie ticketing, cab booking, flight and hotel bookings, live chat and hyperlocal deals.

“At Samsung, we continuously strive to create value for our customers by providing differentiated solutions and services coupled with innovative devices. The new My Galaxy has been developed keeping in mind the Indian consumers and their smartphone usage habits.

It is a testimony to our passion for innovation and localization,” Asim Warsi, Senior Vice-President, Samsung India Electronics, told reporters here. Developed completely at Samsung R&D Institute, Bengaluru, the new My Galaxy serves the diverse needs of consumers thro­ugh a single app that is integrated with the partner ecosystem.
