Just a few days after we caught a glimpse at Google’s latest Play Store redesign full of changes to the app listing and trending section, Google appears to be testing out a change to search results.

In a server-side change that some users are reporting, Google Play’s search results are getting a minor revamp. When searching for a particular app, users can directly install the app from search results.

This new change is minor, but it makes things easy for installing apps quickly. Specific search terms such as Chrome or Imgur will pull up a card at the top of the search results which includes a few basic app details such as ratings, download totals, and, of course, the app’s title and icon. Under that, you’ll also have the option to install the app or, if you already have it installed, uninstall or open the app.

Below that card, a list of similar apps and recommended apps will appear, followed by the standard search results underneath. So far this change is only appearing for some users, it’s not live on any of our devices, and it’s unclear when the change will roll out to all users. Are you seeing it?
