Which smartphone to choose Gretel GT6000 Vs. LG XPower 2

Gretel brand is putting quite some faith into their first dual-camera phone released and the Gretel GT6000 certainly has some strong points. But can it stand against phones from the big brands ? Well in today’s small comparison we will put it directly against LG XPower 2 and let’s see who will prevail.

Both phones are trying to achieve more or less the same thing, to offer an affordable big battery smartphone, but the ways to get there can be quite different. LG Xpower 2 is packing the more powerful midrange processor MT6750, while the Gretel GT6000 is more budget oriented with just MT6737 processor. Both have 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable internal storage and similar 5,5-inch HD resolution display, the LG uses Gorilla Glass 3 and Gretel Asahi Glass and 2.5D curve.

Gretel GT6000 seems to have a slightly upper hand with cameras, because it packs 13 MP + 1,3 MP rear dual Panasonic MN34152 sensor with f/2.2 against LG’s single lens 13 MP shooter. Selfie cams are a wash, both 5 MP with LED flash. Xpower 2 pulls ahead with presence of a gyroscope and Bluetooth 4.2, GT6000 counters only with Bluetooth 4.0 but adds hybrid dual SIM instead of single SIM and front fingerprint scanner.

In the main category Gretel GT6000 just obliterates the LG, because it can offer 6000 mAh battery against just 4500 mAh and top it with 9V/2A fast charging. That of course comes with a cost of thicker and heavier body with 10.6mm thickness and 233g of weight. Xpower 2 spots just 8.4mm thickness and 164g of weight. Both have quality metal build and Android 7.0 Nougat as the OS, Gretel throws in the mix stuff like Parallel space and One-hand mode too.

The deciding factor quite often comes with the price tag and here is where the Gretel GT6000 really shines, it’s already available in the presales for $109.99 on Gearbest, AliExpress, Amazon and so on. while the LG Xpower 2 is expected in June for about $265.
