California [United States]: After months of delays and apparent 'sabotage' by an employee, Tesla has finally met its goal of manufacturing 5,000 Model 3 units per week.

The last car of the batch rolled off the Fremont line at 5AM local time on July 1, which is still delayed by a few hours of the actual target, but nonetheless helped the company achieve its goal, Engadget reported.

The Model 3 is an EV or Electric Vehicle and costs USD 35,000 for the base model.
