Indian business applications provider, Zoho has signed a memorandum of understanding MoU with the National Skill Training Institute NSTI, a body under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship MSDE to offer a 6day coding course
Indian business applications provider, Zoho has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), a body under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to offer a 6-day coding course.
The national institute will offer a course in Zoho Creator, which is a low code programming platform designed by Zoho. According to the official statement, Zoho will offer course called ‘Create and Operate Business Apps’. The course is designed for anyone with the basic knowledge of programming.
The course will be facilitated by Zoho Creator’s training partner, ITK Education Services. The 6-day long course is split into two parts. Out of which, first 36 hours are dedicated to training students on how to use Zoho Creator for building process automation applications, while the other 12 hours are for soft skills training.
Zoho has also setup a Center of Excellence classroom facility at California and Chennai headquarters. The classroom facility is equipped with all the infrastructure needed for training students.
NSTI expects that the training will help students in improving their chances of finding a suitable job or start their own business using Zoho Creator. The low-code programming platform will help students to build applications in the modern infrastructure, at the institute’s Guindy campus in Chennai.
In a press release, Zoho’s VP of Product Management, Hyther Nizam said, “Zoho is thrilled to partner with the National Skill Training Institute. We are providing students with an opportunity to learn how to create applications for process automation, a major requirement for any business in the age of digital transformation. With Zoho Creator, students can easily translate a business need to an app quickly without facing programming complexities. We strongly believe in the power of skill training and hope to reach as many individuals as possible.”
Experts believe that the course will be useful for leaners to effectively create mobile and web business apps using cloud technologies. The joint certification program will help global students develop and publish apps built on Zoho creator. Interested candidates can register for the course on NSTI website.
