Says BJP-led NDA govt caught in web of corporate forces

Khammam: CPI General Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy found fault with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for wasting public money. Addressing the State Conference of the party here on Monday, he questioned KCR who gave him the right to spend public money in the name of Vaastu and offerings to temples.

“How all his (KCR) acts such as spending huge amounts of public money on development of Yadagirigutta temple are treated as the acts of the government,” Reddy said, advising KCR not to bring his personal devotional activities to turn into the government’s programmes.

He said that the BJP, which came to power by instigating the communal sentiments, is in the web of corporate forces. “The grace period given to both the Centre and the State governments is over,” Reddy said, calling upon Left Parties to unite and wage a war against the rulers.

In another programme, CPI national executive member K Narayana said that their party will soon launch agitations against the AP and Telangana governments for their anti-people policies. Speaking to press persons here, he said that the Left Parties alone could exert pressure on the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre and the TRS-led State government to mend their ways. “Both the governments have been working for the benefit of the corporate forces ignoring the welfare of the common man,” he alleged.
