Hyderabad: Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav denied that the Telangana government had resorted to phone tapping. He also denied that the government was keeping a tab on the chambers of AP Ministers. He said all the TDP leaders were in a state of fear since the arrest of their party MLA A Revanth Reddy and therefore they were levelling such baseless allegations.

Talasani said Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed by the ACB and there was clear evidence to prove his guilt. Despite this, the TDP leaders were in denial mode. He said even a school kid, after watching the video, would say that Revanth Reddy tried to bribe to the nominated MLA.

He alleged that it was Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu who began the culture of buying MLAs about 25 years ago. Addressing the media at the Secretariat here, Talasani said Chandrababu Naidu was noted for doing politics with money.

Ridiculing the TDP leaders for their inability to cast their votes in the MLC elections properly, he alleged that Naidu was notorious for practicing filthy politics. Condemning the provocative comments of AP Ministers that the TRS government was tapping their phones, Srinivas Yadav alleged that Naidu was noted for such bad ideas to malign the TRS.

He attributed Revanth Reddy’s ‘note for vote’ row to the money politics of Naidu. The Minister said those who committed mistakes would not escape strong hands of law and Revanth’s case was no exception. He also wanted to know how the legislator could offer that much money to the nominated MLA.

He expressed discontent at Naidu’s reaction on Revanth’s row to file a case against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. “TD is known for doing such ‘dirty’ activities and ours is the responsible government which abstains from doing such things,” he claimed.
