Hyderabad: Anglo-Indian MLA Elvis Stephenson met Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at the latter’s Farm House in Medak district on Wednesday. The meeting assumed significance with “cash-for-vote” probe reaching a key stage with the submission of forensic report on audio and video tapes to the ACB court on Wednesday.

Stephenson is understood to have briefed Chief Minister on his fresh petition opposing stay on arrest of Jerrusulem Mathaiah, the fourth accused in the cash-for-votes scam. This was the third meeting between the nominated MLA and KCR in the last 10 days.

The TDP functionaries alleged that Stephenson was acting according to directions of KCR and hence series of frequent meetings between them. Meanwhile, according to unconfirmed reports ACB Director General A K Khan also met KCR in the Farm House on Wednesday. He is learnt to have briefed Rao on the progress of the case.

Tight security cover has been thrown around the Farm House and police did not allow any vehicle within 5 km vicinity of Farmhouse in Erravelli due to presence of Chief Minister. KCR is likely to stay in Erravelli for two more days, according to TRS sources. He is personally monitoring sowing of Ginger seeds in his sprawling agricultural land.
