Telangana TDP on Friday challenged the Telangana government to come for an open debate on the funds allocated to irrigation projects taken up by the then Chief minister of the united AP N Chandrababu Naidu. Addressing a press conference here, party senior leader R Chandrasekhar Rao said that Naidu was the only Chief Minister who earmarked huge funds for the irrigation projects in Telangana particularly Mahbubnagar district.

Hyderabad: Telangana TDP on Friday challenged the Telangana government to come for an open debate on the funds allocated to irrigation projects taken up by the then Chief minister of the united AP N Chandrababu Naidu. Addressing a press conference here, party senior leader R Chandrasekhar Rao said that Naidu was the only Chief Minister who earmarked huge funds for the irrigation projects in Telangana particularly Mahbubnagar district.


He said Sangambanda balancing reservoir under Bheema project was the brain child of Chandrababu Naidu. He rubbished the allegations of State Industries Minister and senior TRS leader Jupally Krishna Rao against Naidu on the project implementation in Telangana State.


R Chandrasekhar Rao also said that he is ready to rub his nose on the floor if the minister proved the allegations with evidences. Naidu strove hard to supply irrigation water to 2.70 lakh acres and drinking water to 516 fluoride affected villages under Bheema project, Reddy added.
