Cherlapally jail placed under tight security

Hyderabad: Telangana police tightened the security measures and deployed Octopus, the elite anti terrorist group outside Cherlapally jail late on Friday evening following intelligence inputs that Bhatkal would attempt to escape from jail. In fact a little earlier rumours were making rounds that Bhatkal had made an attempt to escape but the jail authorities denied any such incident.

However at the same time, they have tightened the security at the jail. It may be mentioned here that Bhatkal and 13 of his associates are in Cherlapally jail. Yasin Bhatkal, co-founder of banned terror group Indian Mujahideen, Recently, there were reports that he had spoken to his wife on phone and said that he would be out soon with "help from Damascus," The call was intercepted around a month ago.
