Panel discussion on food safety to be held tomorrow
Goethe-Zentrum, cultural organisation of the Federal Republic of Germany, will be organising a panel discussion on “Food Safety and consumer Rights of India and Germany” at Goethe-Zentrum on Monday. The current issues regarding the Food Safety and its solutions will be discussed at the session.

The current issues regarding the Food Safety and its solutions will be discussed at the session.
Food safety has become a major issue of late and discussions on the causes of foodborne diseases and protection in-day-to-day life and many other such issues will be discussed. Experts of product head of food certificate, Radhika Subramanyam, Director in-charge of CONCERT, G Santhanarajan, consumer activist and general secretary of Consumer Care Centre, Rajam Ganesam, and Trustee of a women’s NGO, Kinnera Murthy, will discuss on safety of food standards and certifications, food adulteration, laws and mechanism to protect consumer rights.
