‘Cash-for-vote’ scam
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday filed a preliminary charge sheet in the 'cash-for-vote' case against TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy before the Special Court for ACB Case here.
Among others whose names figured in the charge sheet include Bishop Sebastian Harry, Reddy's aides Uday Simha and M Jerusalem under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act and section 120 B (Criminal Conspiracy) of IPC.
The 25-page charge sheet also contains the statements of 39 witnesses and other documents. The ACB officials said that they would file another charge sheet in near future against another TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and others. Further investigation in the case is still going on, they said.
