Media misusing PF funds, says Dattatreya. Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday said that the many Chief Ministers’ were not seeing interest to implement Majithia committee reports.
Nizamabad: Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday said that the many Chief Ministers’ were not seeing interest to implement Majithia committee reports. The committee submitted its report on norms, wages of journalists and other newspaper employees according to the orders of the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Dattatreya said the Labour Ministry was trying to implement the Majithia committee reports and wrote letters to all the chief ministers in the country, but they were not showing any interest. He said the ministry would be once again reminding the chief ministers to implement the reports of Majithia committee.
He also said that in India, media means only print media according to the norms of our constitution but now various types of media like electronic, social and other types of medias were present in the country. The Majithia committee report gives clarity on the definition of media, the Minister said.
Dattatreya also said that in Telangana, few media houses were misusing the PF amount of journalists and warned that the Labour Ministry would take action against them.
