Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya and a few other BJP leaders were trapped inside a lift for around 10 minutes at Jagruti Bhavan at Kacheguda in the city on Sunday.

According to reports , the lift got stuck at the second floor reportedly due to power cut. The incident happened when the union minister was going to attend a book launch ceremony.
The security personnel safely pulled out Dattatreya and other leaders trapped inside.
A few days ago, BJP president Amit Shah got stuck in a lift at a government guest house in Patna for about 30 minutes.
