Malayalee outfits to hold Onam fete on Sept 20, 27

Hyderabad: Thanal Malayalee Seva Samithi, Nair Service Society (NSS), ATMA Malayalee Samithi on Saturday greeted the Malayalees on the occasion of Onam.
President, NSS, Chairman, ATMA Malayalee Seva Samithi and Convenor, Thanal Malayalee Seva Samithi, C G Chandra Mohan while greeting the Keralites all over the world and the twin cities in particular said Onam symbolises equality, fraternity and truthfulness.
He said “Onam is the National festival of Kerala and is celebrated by all the Keralites wherever they are irrespective of caste, creed and religion. Onam reminds us of the bygone days when everyone had equal opportunity and there was happiness everywhere.”
Chandra Mohan said several organisations in the twin cities were celebrating Onam with the traditional feast and traditional cultural programmes in various parts of the city from Sunday onwards.
While Kairalee Arts Club and SNECS celebrated Onam on Sunday, Thanal Malayalee Samithi and others would do so on September 20 and ATMA on September 27.
