KCR should take a pledge to give up liquor: Manda Krishna
The Telangana Government has come in for severe criticism from the opposition for its decision to introduce cheap liquor. There are reports that the Government may drop the cheap liquor proposal bowing to the pressure and escape the wrath of public.

Speaking on the cheap liquor policy, Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi President Manda Krishna Madiga gave an advice to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
He said that KCR should take a pledge not to consume alcohol anymore. "KCR should take inspiration from Assembly Speaker Madhusudhanachary. He should ask the public to take a pledge to refrain from alcohol consumption. He should create awareness among the public about the ill-effects of the liquor," Manda Krishna Madiga said.
