BJP protests over bad condition of city roads
Telangana State BJP president G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the TRS government was neglecting repairing of roads in the twin cities. Kishan Reddy was speaking at a dharna organised by the party against the pathetic condition of roads and gross negligence of GHMC in taking up repair works.

Hyderabad: Telangana State BJP president G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the TRS government was neglecting repairing of roads in the twin cities. Kishan Reddy was speaking at a dharna organised by the party against the pathetic condition of roads and gross negligence of GHMC in taking up repair works.
The party organised the dharna at Nallakunta Crossroads in protest against the government’s negligent attitude on repairing of roads. The roads in the city were in very bad condition and causing hardship to citizens, Kishan Reddy said, adding that the GHMC authorities were not serious about repairing roads.
Pointing out that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was frequently claiming that Hyderabad would be transformed into a world class city, the BJP leader said the former seemed to be keen on making Hyderabad as a problem city. He warned that his party would intensify the agitation if the KCR government failed to rise to the occasion and take urgent steps to repair roads in the city.
BJP Greater Hyderabad president B Venkat Reddy and city leaders, along with a large number of party workers, including women, participated in the dharna.
