Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana is contemplating disciplinary action against National Executive Committee member Nagam Janardhan Reddy for indulging in anti-party activities.

Though the BJP initially chose to ignore the new outfit - Telagnana Bachao -- floated by Nagam, it now feels miffed with the manner in which Nagam has been taking independent decisions with regard to holding press conferences and criticising the state party leaders.

Recently, Nagam had said that the state leaders were sold out to TRS and hence were not taking on the ruling party. Janardhan Reddy, who shared with The Hans India that he was feeling suffocated in the party, had said that he was not happy the way the BJP soft-pedalling with the TRS. He, however, denied rumours that he would quit BJP and return to TDP.

He said at the same time he cannot remain a mute spectator to the injustice being meted to the people by TRS and hence was floating Telangana Bachao.
