Hyderabad: Telangana Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy on Thursday said the State government was committed to prevent the recurrence of suicides by farmers in the State.
Inaugurating the 104th Counselling Center in the Health Education Directorate at Koti here, the Minister said farmers should not resort to take extreme steps leaving their dependents as orphans.
Those in distress and facing problems should call 104 for immediate solution, the Minister maintained. “Since suicide is not the solution to every problem, we must not lose our hearts,” Lakshma Reddy said.
