Kalvakuntla Kavita adopts families of farmers who committed suicide

Nizamabad MP Kavitha adopted as many 80 families of farmers who have committed suicides in Telangana. Addressing a conference with Guttajwala, Pragyan Ojha, and Sania Mirza's Mother on farmers' adoption, the TRS MP announced that she adopted families of 80 bereaved farmers and would extend financial support to them.

The Nizamabad MP gave a call that each one should adopt a family of farmer who ended their lifes. Responding to Kavitha's call, Hyderabadi badminton player Gutta Jwala and cricketer Pragyan Ojha came forward to extend financial support to the families.

Tennis star Sania Mirza donated Rs 3 lakhs for the farmers' families, while Gutta Jwala and Pragyan Ojha donated rs 1 lakh to the families. "Thank you @Guttajwala @pragyanojha & @MirzaSania for donating to the farmers' cause," Kavitha posted. As per the press release, every family adopted would be given Rs 5,000 every month for a period of one year.
