High Court's verdict relieves Power Employees

More than 1,200 employees working in the state-run discoms were relieved by the Telangana Government and have been jobless since June. The employees request to be placed in the state cadre was not been implemented by the AP Government.
More than 1,200 employees working in the state-run discoms were relieved by the Telangana Government and have been jobless since June. The employees request to be placed in the state cadre was not been implemented by the AP Government.
Finally, the High court's verdict has come as a huge relief to the employees working in state-run discoms. In its verdict on Tuesday, the High Court stated that all the 1,253 employees belong to Telangana until a final judgement on the issue is declared.
Also, the AP and Telangana Governments have been ordered by the High Court to settle 58 percent and 42 percent of their salaries respectively within 4 weeks.
