Najma: MIM indulging in communal politics

Hyderabad: Union Minister for Minority Affairs Najma Heptul- lah has accused MIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi of pushing the country for another division by pursuing his communal politics.

Addressing the BJP Minority Morcha workers here on Monday, Najma Heptullah said that the MIM activities were encouraging anti-national and divisive forces. She said both Mohammed Ali Jin- nah and Jawaharlal Nehru were responsible for partition of India in 1947.

Asaduddin Owaisi was ex- ecuting his communal agenda in a similar fashion. She asked the BJP cadre to oppose MIM's poli- tics by emulating Maulana Abul Kalam Azad who opposed cre- ation of Pakistan.

She also slammed a section of media for promoting MIM and Asaduddin Owaisi. Najma Heptul- lah also denied reports that Asaduddin Owaisi had a secret meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

She said Narendra Modi does not support any communal forces and therefore there was no question of him meeting Owaisi. Telangana BJP Mi- nority Morcha pres- ident Syed Haneef Ali presided over the meeting.

Addressing a press conference later, Najma Hep- tullah said that BJP was committed to- wards the develop- ment of minorities, especially Muslims
