Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to take up the long due exercise of filling nominated posts in Telangana government after the ensuing Assembly sessions which is scheduled to begin from September 23.

According to reports, KCR is planning to fill up the nominated posts one week after the Assembly sessions. Earlier, KCR had promised to fill up nominated posts after Independence Day but a large number of posts still remain vacant.

Several contestants who lost during the elections have began serious lobbying for the posts. The Telangana CM seems to be treading cautiously on filling the posts due to the political risks involved in the exercise. TNGOs and JACs of various other departments and leaders who actively participated in the Telangana movement are eyeing the posts.
