Ganesh immersion of 23,000 idols to take place in Hyderabad

The Ganesh nimarjanam will have around 23,000 idols that will be immersed in water bodies in Hyderabad. On the occasion, Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, Union Home Minister Rajnah Singh and Union Minister of State Bandaru Dattatreya will be present during the procession.
Beginning at Balapur, the main procession will conclude at Hussainsagar with 10,000 idols to be immersed in Hussainsagar. The state government has made arrangements for the immersion to take place smoothly and avoid unwarranted incidents. Strict security measures have been briefed up in the main parts of the city by the officials who made arrangements for the idol immersion at 23 water bodies.
Also, 500 CCTVs have been installed along with 150 SHE teams looking into anti-social elements. Khairatabad Ganesh procession will begin at 4 PM and devotees will be allowed to visit upto 1 PM.
