A major road accident took place in Peddashapur village, Shamshabad mandal in Ranga Reddy district on Wednesday when an RTC bus hit a truck that was parked on the road. Following the RTC bus, eight other vehicles collided with the truck killing two immediately and leaving 10 others injured in the mishap.
While the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, five people are said to be in critical condition. The accident occurred when the bus was travelling from Mahbubnagar to Hyderabad. Police who reached the accident spot informed that the bus was moving at high speed which resulted in the accident.
