Elaborating further, the Chief Minister stated that the Telangana government would resolve issues of farming community and waive farm loans of 24 lakh farmers. KCR assured that the crop loan up to Rs 1 lakh will be waived by the government and also said that farm sector would be provided with three-phase power for 24 hours by 2018.
KCR was amidst mounting criticism with opposition parties demanding the TRS government to settle farm loan waiver over the spate of farmer suicides in Telangana.
